Spartan athlete and Emerald City Open winner Alyssa Hawley

In this episode we talk to Alyssa Hawley who recently won the first Spartan Championship Series event in Seattle.

Alyssa tells us about how she got into OCR in 2015, and was quickly on the podium. In her short OCR career, she has been made a Spartan Pro-Team member, and won a Spartan Championship Series event. The also tells us about her full-time job, and how she manages to maintain the training of a pro athlete with a full-time job. Lastly, Alyssa gets Heather even more scared of bears.
